Blondes have more fun? Dark, freezing winters promote fulfillment?

• The four that are in the top 10 on all three lists are strong social democracies, with universal healthcare and strong safety nets.
• Two of these get dinged by Business Week for high taxes, which don't seem to have hurt them in any category.
• Six of the top 20 are English speaking.
• The top 3 in business competitiveness are all highly competitive societies socially as well, with low taxes and weak safety nets, and they rank fairly low in happiness.

Timely post considering the riots in Copenhagen last night.
