Richard and members of our team just spent a great week in Noosa (see more here) and we are now preparing for our team to return there in April to work with community members. There has been a lot of email traffic already about the shire's path toward authentic, sustainable economic growth in the Creative Economy and we are looking forward to more great dialogue on the opportunities and challenges ahead. The last week only confirmed that the people of Noosa are thoughtful and intelligent and we look forward to working with (and hearing from) more citizens and leaders in Noosa during our CCLP in April.
Thanks for coming to Noosa, "Mate"!
You mentioned that creative places need to be "Great place to live, to visit and to work." It's the "to work" part that is the most challenging here. We look forward to that furnace being stoked!

Thank you to the whole Creative Class Team Lou, Steve and the gorgeous Sarah for the 2days last week developing projects with our catalyst group.
The enormous research and data collation was impressively extensive. I look forward to our Noosa-Australia group leading the way to help impliment 'economically vibrant' programs for the whole of the Sunshine Coast Region. This is a newly formed region (the amalgamation of 3 councils into 1) and by this virtue is perfectly staged to greatly benefit from the Craetive Class projects.
The next 12 months will be fun and interesting. Our region has a strong Creative Class element #2 in Australia and this catalyst leadership program will put this region into 'global excellence'. It is in the journey, not the destination, that the true value will arise in ways that I am sure will even surprise us.
Once again, thank you and look forward to a productive and prosperous year................Julie Allan
