When all is said and done, it looks like Obama will ultimately owe his victory to African-Americans and his huge, creative class activist army. However, pretty much every Democrat currently in office owes his or her victory to African-Americans and creative class activists. Outside of organized labor and African-American churches, virtually all of Democratic activism comes from the creative class.

In addition to African-Americans,  Obama has a considerable lead among the richest groups and independents (non-Democarts).  Class is going to play even more of a role in the general election - that's for sure.
